Another year, another iPhone it set to be released just next month. It’s said to be the biggest, most expensive version of the phone so far (isn’t it always?).
The Wall Street Journal reports that the big reveal and launch event will happen on September 12th, with pre-orders starting that same week.
Pricing in expected to START at $999… yeah. That’s $350 more than the entry level iPhone 7.
Some of the new features that have been rumored to be included in the new iPhone 8 are a Face ID recognition technology, wireless charging and an updated look. The phone’s new screen will cover the entire front, with a 5.8 inch display and the camera has been switched to a vertical position making it better for landscape oriented photos.
At that price though… it better have the battery life of a Nokia 3310.
