Mike Fisher has announced today that he is retiring from the NHL after 17 seasons.
Mike Fisher kicked off his NHL career with the Ottawa Senators for 11 seasons before moving on to Nashville in 2011.
He opened up to the Tennessean about the support from Nashville’s fans throughout the Playoffs.
The way the city was behind us was unbelievable, and that’s what makes the memory such a high – but also bittersweet. Can you imagine if we had a parade down Broadway?
He also talked about his tough decision to leave the NHL and that he’s planning to spend his time with his family and friends.
Carrie Underwood put this sweet post about her hubby on Instagram:
