Welcome to 2017, where Canadians STILL can’t get unlimited data on their phone plans.
If you’re the kind of person who finds yourself going over your data limit frequently and accepting overage fees after your warnings with a Rogers account, make sure you add those data top ups to your plans or you’ll get a pretty big bill in the mail.
The company has revised its Share Everything packages. Customers will now pay $7 per 100 megabytes over their limits when charges are accepted (old charge was $5 per 100 megabytes). However, only new customers, and current customers who update or change their plans will be affected by this change.
They’re following Bell who raised their rate from $5 to $7 per 100 megabytes over in April.
