To help get the message that drinking and driving don’t mix, a Toronto bar is serving drinks on coasters made from cars that were involved in drunk driving accidents. The message on the coaster says “This coaster used to be a car. That car never made it home.”
The campaign is spearheaded by Arrive Alive hopes to give drinking patrons a sobering message about impaired driving. Not just on St. Patrick’s Day, but everyday. The coasters are making their debut at The Emmet Ray whiskey bar this weekend, but Arrive Alive hopes to distribute the coasters to drinking establishments across Canada.
