Starting Thursday, STO (Société de transport de l’Outaouais) workers will begin rotating strikes, affecting transit service in the Gatineau region. Negotiations between the STO and the workers union were unsuccessful on Wednesday. The STO had tried to block a potential strike, saying the union did not give 72-hours notice of the strike. However, the strike was ruled legal by the Canadian Industrial Relations Board. Expect delays on your ride to work on Thursday morning.
