Don’t you just HATE when you forget about $100,000 in cash?
Just your average day at a recycling depot in Barrie, ON, when some crew members found ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS!
Now, few questions here. First off, what exactly does $100 G’s look like… was it all in $5, $10, $20 bills? Did someone roll in it?
The cash was found all in $50 (old ones too considering this money had been in this TV for decades).
Now, I know what you’re thinking. These crew members were faced with quite the moral dilemma. That kind of money could be pretty life changing… would you be able to turn it into the police?
Or would you pocket some/all of the cash?!
Let’s take a poll:
The police did a great thing, and were able to trace old bank records dating back to 1985 and return it to the rightful owner, a 68 year-old man in Bolsover, Ontario.
Apparently, he just, ‘forgot’ about the money.
The money was an inheritance from his parents…
I hate when I just, forget about my 100 G’s.
