Omar at Orangetheory Fitness – South Keys has come up with 4 stretches that also double as a warm up – seriously, I was sweating after this video!
DIRECTIONS: 20 seconds per exercise then rotate WITHOUT rest. Do 3-4 sets.
- Straight arm core twist:
Tips: Bend the knees have your arms straight and rotate the core left to right. Make sure to look in the same directions as the arms go.
- Running on the spot:
Tips: Keep the heels of the ground, bring the knees up to a comfortable level and lean a bit forward with the upper body.
- Arm cross butt kicks:
Tips: Arms straight open the chest move side to side by kicking the butt with the heels.
- High knees pull down:
Tips: Make sure to bring the knees up so you must use your core. Pull the arms down while bringing one knee up.
