Rather than opting for the normal “New year, new me #Blessed” tweet on New Years Eve, US President-Elect Donald Trump took a different route, causing a bit of a stir.
Happy New Year to all, including to my many enemies and those who have fought me and lost so badly they just don't know what to do. Love!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 31, 2016
The…unorthodox phrasing of the tweet prompted a lot of users to comment on how much Trump sounds like a super villain – causing this tweet to go viral:
Not wanting to feel left out, Mark Hamill (who has voiced the animated version of the Joker many times since the 90’s animated tv series) immediately set to work, wanting to bring the comparison to life.
And did he ever make it accurate.
I swear, he could be talking about puppies and it would STILL be terrifying.
He’s not the only voice actor who has turned Trump’s tweets and comments into the remarks of a well known character – last year in the summer, Billy West (who you would know from shows like “The Simpsons” and “Futurama”, plus just about every other cartoon out there) recorded a series of the comments as his Futurama character Zapp Brannigan.
Thankfully, that one is a bit funnier.
