With the snow hitting the Ottawa-Gatineau region on Sunday afternoon, Environment Canada released a Winter Travel Advisory for the region, taking effect tonight and continuing through Monday morning.
Anywhere between 10 and 15 cm of snow is expected before the snow begins to ease off around the noon hour on Monday. Some areas to the west and southwest of Ottawa could get up to 25 cm of snow.
If you have to travel, make sure your vehicle is prepared and drive according to the conditions.
