Many Canadians dream of driving across the country, but what if you could bike it?
A new cross-country bike trail will be opening for Canada’s 150th birthday next year, allowing cyclists, hikers, and cross country skiers to actually go coast to coast without a car.
The trail will be 20,770 kilometers long, making it the world’s single longest network of recreational trails. Construction is reportedly 87% done, and has been under way since 1992.
I think it will be worth the 25 year wait for sure! Now all we need is a cross-country zipline.
