The incredibly funny Leslie Jones, who co-stars in the new “Ghostbusters” movie and also a regular cast member on Saturday Night Live, has been the victim of several disgusting derogatory and racist tweets over the past few days.
She’s taken so much abuse, that she posted a couple of tweets expressing her frustration and sadness.
Several celebrities have posted their support for Leslie on their personal Twitter accounts and included the hashtag #LoveForLeslieJ. Dan Aykroyd, who was in the original “Ghostbusters” movie came to Leslie’s defense during an interview on Tuesday with ET Canada.
I feel like I'm in a personal hell. I didn't do anything to deserve this. It's just too much. It shouldn't be like this. So hurt right now.— Leslie Jones (@Lesdoggg) July 19, 2016
