NBA stars Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and Lebron James kicked off Wednesday night’s ESPY Awards by speaking aboutthe recent events in the U.S. involving gun violence in several cities over the last few weeks and the divide between the black community and law enforcement.
The four stars addressed the pro athletes encouraging them to use their celebrity and their respective platforms in order to make change, to keep the conversation going, help face the issues head on, help out in their respective communities and hopefully, bring an end to the violence.
