While Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec are experiencing drought-like conditions, things were much more active in western parts of Canada and the U.S. on Tuesday.
Okotoks, Alberta and Denver, Colorado experienced some crazy hailstorms, leaving several inches of hail on the ground.
The hailstorm in Okotoks lasted 20 minutes, but the scene looked more looked like a winter snowfall when it was done.
The storm in Denver delayed the baseball game between the Toronto Blue Jays and Colorado Rockies for nearly 3 hours. Crews had to let the field drain of excess moisture and remove over an inch of hail from the field before the game could be played.
