Hey, it’s Taylor with JUMP! Cruisin’ the Capital! I’m at the Gatineau Beer Festival, where you can check out 30 breweries and taste over 300 beers! Pace yourselves 😉 Here are the five best I’ve come across so far!
False Creek Raspberry Ale by Granville Island Brewing
“An ultra-refreshing summer ale that combines premium malt and hops with Fraser Valley raspberries. Well-balanced with raspberry colour, aroma and finish, it pairs well with summer salads, fresh air and sunny afternoons.”

“Strong dark lager inspired from Porters around Baltic Sea region. Tastes of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, black cherry, and smoke. Gold winner at the World Beer Awards. 10% alc/vol.”
Les 4 Surfeurs de L’Apocalypso by Le Trou du Diable
A white IPA, strong tropical beer. Foamy, with tastes of lychee and pear. Both sweet and bitter. Multi-award-winning.
La Brise du Lac by Archibald Microbrasserie
A blonde lager made with Bavarian malt. Soft and complex, with floral hops. Golden wheat colour.
Imperiale Ale by Brassierie les 2 Freres
An American double IPA , very dark and hoppy, with an herbal aroma and stone fruit sweetness.
