If you’re flying into Calgary international airport in the near future, starting today (Tuesday), you will see several dogs walking around the terminal. These eleven dogs are pet ambassadors for the Calgary airport. Their job is to help relieve passengers of pre-boarding stresses, such as long lines, delays and fears of flying. The pups are there to provide love, affection and relief to all. All dogs are being accompanied by trained volunteers. To start, the dogs are on site three days a week.
There are several airports worldwide who have similar projects. In fact, 39 airports in North America have similar pet ambassador programs already in place.
