Here’s another reason to validate your daily wine consumption, it keeps the pounds off.
According to researchers at Washington State University and Harvard, wine is good for us because of a chemical called resveratrol, which stops fat cells in the body from gaining more fat.
Wine also has less carbs compared to beer (to read the full article, click HERE) :
Most beers contain anything between 13 and 20 grams of carbs but most wines contain a maximum of 5 grams. Dry wines have a maximum of TWO grams of carbs.
Researchers also concluded that drinking wine at night helps you stay full, which helps with those late night cravings and limits your caloric intake seeing as a glass of wine is about 150 calories, WAY less than that bag of Cheetos.
I guess it is safe to say, wine drinkers are WINNING today 😉
